Transitioning away from ServiceMatrix
If you are using ServiceMatrix to create Proof of Concept applications, please contact us . Our team of Solution Architects will guide and help you through this transition.
Disconnecting a solution from ServiceMatrix
If you've already built a solution using ServiceMatrix, to disconnect it from ServiceMatrix:
- Uninstall the ServiceMatrix Visual Studio Extension. To do this, in Visual Studio, go to Tools > Extensions and Updates. Find the ServiceMatrix Visual Studio extension and click Uninstall. After the uninstall, please restart Visual Studio.
- Open your solution in Visual Studio. Remove the ServiceMatrix related items such as ServiceMatrixVersion.txt and *.slnbldr located under the Solution Items folder in the Solution Explorer.
You can then refactor your solution to combine partial files generated by ServiceMatrix using either Visual Studio refactoring features or other Visual Studio extensions like Resharper .
The current documentation will be available on the documentation site until the end of February 2016 , after which we will be removing it.
The current version 2.2.3 of ServiceMatrix will be available on this website's downloads page and on the Visual Studio Gallery for a limited time, until the end of January 2016. Afterwards ServiceMatrix will be removed from both places.
