🔗Skills and qualifications

  • Strong coding skills in C# and/or Java as a foundation
  • 8+ years of experience as a software developer
  • Experienced in other technical areas, such as testing, technical writing, business analysis, customer-facing activities
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues and clients across different time zones and cultures
  • Thrives in an environment that promotes continuous improvement in processes, technical skills, and personal development
  • Interested in expanding into other areas of the business, such as customer support, architectural guidance, case studies etc. and areas outside the technical domains
  • Ability to work in unfamiliar domains, identifying requirements and breaking down problems into manageable pieces of work
  • Communicates fluently in English, both in writing and verbally

🔗Responsibilities

At Particular, we do things a little differently. While we hire exceptionally talented software engineers, we believe the role of an engineer goes beyond just writing code:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining the Particular Service Platform
  • Providing customer support, ranging from first response to case resolution, as well as architectural guidance and building proof of concepts using our platform
  • Analyzing, shaping, and prioritizing problems and opportunities for our stakeholders
  • Collaborating with your colleagues on tasks impacting all business areas of the company such as hiring, financial reporting, risk management and more
  • Sharing your knowledge and experience with your colleagues and optionally the broader community by writing blog posts, helping out at events, or delivering talks
  • Improving build infrastructure and processes
  • Managing and refining company policies and processes.
